Production Capacity

● Our factory can produce 100 tons-130 tons of calcium carbide per day.

Production Technology

● Electric Arc Furnace: Provides the necessary high temperatures (about 2000 to 2200 degrees Celsius) to generate an electric arc through the electrodes to heat and melt the limestone and coke for chemical reactions.

● Automated feeding system: precise control of limestone and coke ratio and delivery rate.

● Temperature monitoring and control system: precise control of the operating temperature of the arc furnace.

● Exhaust gas treatment equipment: dust removal systems and gas scrubbers.

● Cooling system: water-cooled or air-cooled method.

● Crusher and screening equipment: crushed into small pieces and sorted by size through screening equipment to meet different market demands.

Processing Environment

● Safety measures: Since contact between calcium carbide and water produces flammable acetylene gas, the production site must be strictly isolated from water sources and equipped with adequate fire-fighting facilities and safety warning systems.

● Waste disposal: Solid waste and waste residue generated during the production process need to be safely handled and disposed of to prevent secondary pollution of the environment.

● Employee Protection: Ensure that all operators receive proper safety training and use the necessary personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear, heat-resistant gloves and dust masks.

● Environmental monitoring: Regular monitoring of the environment around the plant, including air quality, noise levels and groundwater conditions, to ensure that production activities do not adversely affect the local environment.
